The Multi Media Filter, developed by Kamo Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd, is a highly efficient water treatment system that effectively removes suspended impurities and clarifies water. It utilizes one or several filter media, such as quartz sand, Anthracite, and manganese sand, to pass water with high turbidity through granular or non-granular materials under pressure. The result is water with a turbidity level below 3 degrees.
When the raw water passes through the filter material from top to bottom, the suspended solids are intercepted by the surface of the filter layer through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. As the water flows into the middle of the filter layer, the tighter arrangement of sand particles allows for increased collision opportunities with particles in the water. This causes flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles to adhere to each other, trapping impurities in the filter material layer and resulting in clear water quality. The filtered effluent has suspended solids below 5 milligrams per liter.
