The multi-media filter by Kamo Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd is a highly efficient water treatment solution designed to remove suspended impurities and clarify water. It utilizes one or several filter media, such as quartz sand, Anthracite, and manganese sand, to effectively reduce turbidity and improve water quality. With an effluent turbidity reaching below 3 degrees, this filter is suitable for various applications including turbidity removal, softened water, and pre-treatment of pure water.
As the raw water passes through the filter material from top to bottom, suspended solids are intercepted by the surface of the filter layer through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. The tighter arrangement of sand particles in the middle of the filter layer allows for increased collision opportunities with particles in the water. This leads to the adherence of flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles, effectively trapping impurities and producing clear water. The filtered effluent has suspended solids below 5 milligrams per liter.
