Working Principle:

When the raw water passes through the filter material from top to bottom, suspended solids are intercepted by the filter layer's surface through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. As the water flows into the middle of the filter layer, the tighter arrangement of sand particles allows for increased collisions between particles in the water and sand particles. This leads to the adherence of flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles, trapping impurities and resulting in clear water. The filtered effluent achieves a suspended solids level below 5 milligrams per liter.
