It utilizes one or several filter media, such as quartz sand, Anthracite, and manganese sand, to effectively reduce turbidity and improve water quality. With an effluent turbidity below 3 degrees, this filter is perfect for turbidity removal, softened water, and pre-treatment of pure water.

Working Principle:

As the raw water passes through the filter material from top to bottom, the suspended solids are intercepted by the surface of the filter layer through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. In the middle of the filter layer, the tighter arrangement of sand particles allows for increased collision opportunities with particles in the water. This leads to the adherence of flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles, trapping impurities and resulting in clear water. The filtered effluent has a suspended solids level below 5 milligrams per liter.
