Working Principle:

As the raw water passes through the filter material, suspended solids are intercepted by the surface of the filter layer through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. The compact arrangement of sand particles in the filter material layer allows particles in the water to collide, causing flocs, suspended solids, and sand particles to adhere to each other. This results in the trapping of impurities in the filter material layer, producing clear water quality. The filtered effluent has suspended solids below 5 milligrams per liter.
