The Multi-Media Filter, developed by Kamo Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd, is a highly efficient water treatment system designed to remove suspended impurities and clarify water. It utilizes one or several filter media, such as quartz sand, Anthracite, and manganese sand, to effectively reduce turbidity and achieve water treatment goals.
When raw water passes through the multi-media filter, suspended solids are intercepted by the filter layer's surface through adsorption and mechanical flow resistance. As water flows through the filter layer, the tighter arrangement of sand particles allows for more collisions with particles in the water. This leads to the formation of flocs and the adherence of suspended solids and sand particles, effectively trapping impurities and producing clear water. The filtered effluent has a suspended solids concentration below 5 milligrams per liter.
